A new era of dinosaurs is about to hit the big screen. Three years after the conclusion of the Jurassic World trilogy, with each film having surpassed a billion dollars at the global box office, the famous saga about the gigantic reptiles that lived in prehistory will continue to thrill millions of fans around the world in 2025 with the arrival in theaters of Jurassic World Rebirth, of which the official logo, plot, and first official images have just been revealed. Directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) from a script by original Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp, the film stars Scarlett Johansson, Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey and two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali.

Five years after the events of Jurassic World: Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those that remain exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates similar to those in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures in the tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring life-saving benefits to humanity. Oscar nominee Scarlett Johansson will play black ops expert Zora Bennett, who leads a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure the genetic material of the world’s three most massive dinosaurs. When Zora’s operation intersects with a civilian family whose boat expedition was destroyed by marauding aquatic dinosaurs, they all find themselves stranded on an island where they face a sinister and shocking discovery that has been hidden from the world for decades. Mahershala Ali will play Duncan Kincaid, Zora’s most trusted team leader, while Jonathan Bailey will play paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis.
Jurassic World: Rebirth also stars Emmy nominee Rupert Friend (Homeland, Obi-Wan Kenobi) as Big Pharma salesman Martin Krebs, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer, Murder on the Orient Express) as Reuben Delgado, the father of the shipwrecked civilian family, Luna Blaise (Manifest), David Iacono (The Summer I Turned Pretty) and Audrina Miranda (Lopez vs. Lopez) as Reuben’s family, and Philippine Velge (Station Eleven), Bechir Sylvain (BMF) and Ed Skrein (Deadpool) as Zora and Krebs’ crew members.
Jurassic World: Rebirth was produced by Academy Award nominee Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, both longtime producers of the franchise and this summer’s blockbuster Twisters. The film’s executive producers are Steven Spielberg, Denis L. Stewart, and Jim Spencer.
