Is Ted Lasso season 4 a reality? It is possible. Although the third season had apparently concluded the universe created by Jason Sudeikis, rumors about the possible continuation of the series had been chasing each other for a couple of weeks. This was especially after Bill Lawrence, co-creator of the series, had suggested the possibility of a continuation of the show. According to Deadline, in recent weeks, the Ted Lasso production Studio would be in negotiations to renew the cast's contracts.

Ted Lasso, Warner Bros. Television is trying to renew the contracts of the cast

In a recent scoop by the authoritative magazine Deadline, Warner Bros. Television would have contacted the teams of 3 main actors of the cast, namely Hannah Waddingham (who plays Rebecca Walton, owner of AFC Richmond), Brett Goldstein (the face of the captain of the team Roy Kent) and Jeremy Swift (who plays Leslie Higgins, the team's COO). The trio of British actors, who are under the British Union of Actors Equity, are in the process of negotiating for the return.

As for the cast of American actors, the Studio instead will have to create new contracts through the union SAG-AFTRA since the previous ones have expired, especially after the great strike of the actors last year. Among the confirmations are the creators and executive producers Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt (Willis Beard), but also Juno Temple (Keeley Jones). Phil Dunster (Jamie Tart) is not expected to return, probably due to his commitment to other series. Little else is known about the other cast members, who in the past have shown themselves in favor of a return to the series.

Although the fourth season has not yet been officially confirmed, the intentions are all there. According to Deadline, in addition to contacting the cast, the Studio is reportedly working on gathering writers and preparing budgets and schedules, with a potential start of production in early 2025.
