A hilarious deleted scene from season 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) drama "Loki" has been released by Variety. Loki is complaining about his grudges, but there are important hints that connect to other MCU works mixed in. This scene is an additional scene from episode 2 of season 2, "Breaking Blood," where Loki and Mobius talk while eating key lime pie. In the video, Loki complains, "There are so many people who call me a troublemaker," and lists the names of people who have insulted him in the past. Many of the names of characters from previous works are mentioned, including some that have not yet appeared in MCU movies.
"Nick Fury, Erik Selvig, Bo, Laufey, Amora, Jane Foster, Darcy Lewis, Maria Hill, going back a few years, everyone. Heimdall, Fandral, Volstagg, Hogun, Heimdall..." When Mobius asked him about repeating Heimdall's name, Loki replied, "Because Heimdall is big," and "Because I remember him." He continued, "Absorbing Man. And Donald Blake. Donald Blake is the pseudonym Thor uses when he goes to Earth. Oh, come to think of it, Hercules. He's big, too. I was a big problem for him." Loki couldn't stop complaining.
Some of the names Loki mentioned may sound unfamiliar. Amora is an Asgardian witch, known in the comics as Enchantress. Absorbing Man is Hulk's arch-enemy, a villain with the ability to absorb the energy of any object he touches and copy it into his own body. In the comics, Loki gave him his powers. This was recreated in the 2003 version of "Hulk," a non-MCU work, and also appeared in the TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." This suggests that Loki was involved in the story of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
The last character, Hercules, first appeared in "Thor: Love and Thunder." He is the son of Zeus, the king of the "City of the Almighty" that Thor and his friends visited, and in the film, he was ordered by an angry Zeus to defeat Thor. Although Hercules may make a full appearance in future MCU works, it has been revealed that he has already had a dispute with Loki. How will Loki behave in the future MCU? With his now immense power, perhaps he will play a prank on the people mentioned here in revenge...?
"Loki" is currently streaming on Disney Plus.
